The 3rd International Workshop on Gravitational Waves and the Early Universe (GWEU25)

With the first detection of gravitational waves from binary black hole mergers, we have officially entered the era of gravitational wave cosmology. In the early universe, many processes beyond the Standard Model could generate gravitational waves across a wide frequency range, offering a new observational window into the origin and evolution of the universe. A series of upcoming experiments—including CMB-S4, LiteBIRD, BICEP/Keck, AliCPT, NANOGrav, EPTA, PPTA, CPTA, LISA, Taiji, TianQin, and ET—aim to probe these gravitational waves using CMB polarization, pulsar timing arrays, and interferometers, both space-based and ground-based.

To promote research in this exciting direction, we launched the International Workshop on Gravitational Waves and the Early Universe, aiming to explore how gravitational waves can serve as a novel observational probe of the early universe and new physics, discuss new theoretical predictions for next-generation experiments, and foster interdisciplinary connections. The first two workshops, held in 2023 and 2024, attracted over 100 researchers from around the world and received enthusiastic responses from the academic community.

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd workshop will be held in Ningbo, China, from August 31st to September 4th, 2025. Confirmed invited speakers include the following:

随着LIGO首次探测到双黑洞并合引力波，人类正式进入了引力波宇宙学的时代。在早期宇宙中，许多超出标准模型的新物理过程都可能产生覆盖广泛频率范围的引力波，为我们研究宇宙的起源与演化提供了全新的观测窗口。未来，一系列前沿实验计划将针对这些引力波展开探测，包括利用宇宙微波背景极化的CMB-S4、LiteBIRD、BICEP/Keck和AliCPT，利用脉冲星计时阵列的NANOGrav、EPTA、PPTA和CPTA，以及基于空间和地面干涉仪的LISA、太极、天琴和ET等项目。

为了推动该领域的进一步发展，我们发起了“引力波与早期宇宙国际研讨会”，旨在探讨如何利用引力波这一新型观测手段研究早期宇宙和新物理，讨论下一代引力波实验的新理论预言，并促进相关交叉领域的交流与合作。2023年和2024年，前两届研讨会成功举办，吸引了来自全球百余位学者，并在学术界产生了积极反响。

我们很高兴地宣布，第三届研讨会将于2025年8月31日至9月4日在中国宁波泛太平洋酒店举行。已确认的邀请的报告人包括：
