摘要:
Semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS) is one of the key processes to extract transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs). An advantage of electrons is that they are much cleaner probes of nucleon structure than hadron beams, but, at the same time, electron scattering at large momentum transfer can be a source of considerable photon radiation, which can significantly distort the inferred nucleon structure. In this talk, I will presenta new factorized approach to SIDIS, treating QED and QCD radiation on equal footing and providing a systematically improvable approximation to the extraction of TMDs. I will show how radiation effects prevent a well-defined ``photon-hadron'' frame, forcing one to use a two-step process to account for the radiation, and demonstrate how the QED contributions can be well approximated by collinear factorization. I will illustrate the utility of the new method by explicit application to the spin-dependent Sivers and Collins asymmetries.

刘天博 博士
山东大学前沿交叉科学研究院,粒子科学技术研究中心教授。本科和博士毕业于北京大学,2015年至2020年先后在杜克大学、Jefferson Lab从事博士后研究。长期从事强子结构的研究,近年来利用光前全息量子色动力学理论建立极化与非极化部分子分布函数关系,核子与介子部分子分布函数的关联,以及有限夸克质量修正的新方案;在QCD因子化理论下提出次领头幂次修正受强子化机制影响的增强效应;处理深度非弹过程中电磁辐射效应的因子化方案等。2019年获国际光锥委员会颁发Gary McCartor奖,现担任EicC三维核子结构部分召集人。
