The 12th Joint workshop on Physics of Strong Interacting System organized by the Key Laboratory in Theoretical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research will be held on Nov. 4-8, 2024 in Huzhou University, China. The workshop follows the previous workshops held in Dubna (2010, 2014, 2016), St. Petersburg (2018), Yerevan (2023) organized by BLTP/JINR, and in Beijing (2011, 2013), Guilin (2015), Shenzhen (2017), Guangzhou (2019) organized by KLTP/CAS. The purpose of this workshop is to solve the open problems in nuclear physics within the existing collaborations and to create new collaborations in nuclear community, especially between the theorists and experimentalists.
Main Topics
- Study of complete fusion reactions leading to superheavy nuclei
- Quasi-fission and transfer-type reactions, production of exotic nuclei
