报告人:朱华星 研究员 (浙江大学) 报告时间:2023年05月12日 15:00 - 17:00 (Beijing time) 摘要: Energy-Energy Correlations (EECs) are a class of energy-weighted multi-particle angular correlation observables. There has recently been significant renewed interest in EECs due to their potential to probe the underlying QCD dynamics in high energy collisions. In this talk, I will first review the theoretical foundation for EECs in ee collisions from the perspective of the operator product expansion. Then I will discuss the generalization of EECs to hadron-hadron collisions and its application to studying jet substructure. Finally, I will discuss applying EECs to electron-ion collisions as a new probe of nuclear structure. 报告人简介: 朱华星, 2012年博士毕业于北京大学,其后分别于美国SLAC国家实验室和MIT从事博士后研究,2017年至今任浙江大学百人 计划研究员。朱华星的主要研究方向是微扰量子色动力学、软共线有效理论和对撞机物理,曾获2020年度香港求是基金会求是 青年学者奖。迄今共发表论文70余篇,其中15篇发表于Physical Review Letters。
