DESCRIPTION:The Symposium on“Probing Rare Isotopes with Heavy-Ion Reacti
 ons: Advances\, Challenges\, and the Road Ahead”will be held in Huizhou\
 , China\, from October 16 to 20\, 2026. The Symposium is co-organized by t
 he Institute of Modern Physics\, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMP-CAS) and
  Sun Yat-sen University\, and hosted by the Southern Center for Nuclear-Sc
 ience Theory (SCNT). The relevant details are as follows.\n\nTheme:\n\nWit
 h the commissioning of the High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (
 HIAF)\, a major national science and technology infrastructure\, China has
  entered a new stage in nuclear reaction research based on fragment separa
 tors. The symposium will invite experts in related fields from both China 
 and abroad for academic exchange. Recent advances in reaction/charge-chang
 ing/knockout/charge-exchange cross-section measurements and relevant stud
 ies will be reviewed. Major challenges/problems will be identified. Future
  collaboration based on HIAF will be discussed.\n\nDates:\n\nOctober 16–
