Description

This series of lectures summarizes to approaches to few-body problems in nuclear and hypernuclear physics. The lectures begin with an introduction to Faddeev and Yakubovsky equations, including their explicit representation in momentum space and the treatment of singularities. Recent advancements in their application to nuclear and hypernuclear physics are briefly discussed. Additionally, the series covers the Jacobi no-core shell model, detailing coefficients of fractional parentage and transition coefficients for 2- and 3-body operators. Extensions to strangeness -1 and -2 hypernuclei are outlined. Finally, selected applications of the Jacobi no-core shell model are presented.
