DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) i
 n Huizhou\, China\, has completed construction and is now operational for 
 experiments. It can deliver high-intensity ion beams ranging from hydrogen
  to uranium\, supporting a wide range of experiments—including studies o
 f exotic nuclear structure\, superheavy nuclei\, nuclear matter\, and hype
 rnuclei. For instance\, a stable beam 209Bi ions of 3.16×10^10 particles 
 per pulse\, with an energy of 851 MeV/u\, has been generated and successfu
 lly stored in the booster ring. Based on the requirements from the physics
  program\, a High Rigidity Radioactive Beam Line (HIRIBL) with a length of
  192 m and maximum magnetic rigidity of 25 Tm\, was designed and construct
 ed. HIRIBL is one of the science pillars at HIAF. As a scientific user fac
 ility\, HIAF/HIRIBL welcomes scientists from around the world to participa
 te in its research activities.\n\nOn this occasion\, we plan to organize t
 he Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Youth Salon Related to HIAF/HIRIBL. T
 he salon aims to bring together a small group of active international scie
 ntists for discussions on future experimental opportunities\, detector dev
 elopments\, and international collaborations related to HIAF/HIRIBL and ne
 xt-generation radioactive-ion-beam facilities\n\nThe salon will be organiz
 ed by Institute of Modern Physics (IMP)\, with special support from CAS. T
 he date will be 8 Nov\, 2026 (arrival day) - 12 Nov\, 2026 (departure day)
