Abstract: It has been argued the the presence of regular solutions with an AdS boundary and a cosmological interior will provide a holographic description ofr cosmological physics. The search for such solutions at more than two dimensions has been in vain so far. We consider the problem of finding such solutions in a class of ansatze. We classify all such solutions by classifying the end points as well as the rules that may or may not allow connecting a given pair of end-points. We do find a possible such solution. Several problems that remain to be resolved will be commented upon.

Biography: Elias Kiritsis received his PhD in physics from Caltech in 1988. He is a full professor at the University of Crete and has been a CNRS Research Director since 2002, reaching the exceptional class in 2025. He held research positions at UC Berkeley, ENS Paris, CERN (Theory Division, 1992–98), École Polytechnique, and APC Paris. His research spans string phenomenology, brane cosmology, black hole physics, holographic QCD, and strongly correlated condensed matter systems. He has published 169 papers, received over 15,000 citations, and has an h-index of 70. He authored two string theory books (Princeton University Press and Leuven University Press). He was awarded an EU Marie Curie Excellence Grant (2004), an ERC Advanced Grant (2016), and a CNRS “prime d’excellence” (2013).
