DESCRIPTION:Speakers: DIEGO CRUCES (Institute of Theoretical Physics - Chi
nese Academy of Sciences (ITP\,CAS))\nThe statistical properties of the cu
rvature perturbation on superhorizon scales during inflation are of signif
icant phenomenological interest\, with implications ranging from cosmic mi
crowave background (CMB) observations to primordial black hole (PBH) forma
tion and induced gravitational waves. In this talk\, I will present and co
mpare different techniques for computing these properties: the standard δ
 N formalism\, the stochastic δN formalism\, and a novel non-perturbative
equation of motion for the superhorizon curvature perturbation. I will cla
rify the connections between these approaches and specify the regime of va
 lidity for each.\n\nhttps://indico.itp.ac.cn/event/419/contributions/2433/
