DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nIn my talk\, I review the use of the effective fi
eld theories in a finite volume for the analysis of lattice QCD data. In t
he beginning\, I will sketch the derivation of the two- and three-body qua
ntization condition. The extraction of the matrix elements of currents bet
ween multiparticle states will be also considered. The main focus of the r
eview is on the inclusion of the long-range forces in the quantization con
dition that has attracted much interest in the recent years in the context
of the lattice studies of the $T_{cc}^+(3875)$ as well as the low-energy
 NN scattering.\n\nhttps://indico.itp.ac.cn/event/372/
