The series of the "International Workshop on Soft Matter and Biophysics Theories (SMBT)" is annually organised by Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS), of which the aim is to promote interactions and collaborations between theoreticians and experimentalists working on Soft Matter and Biophysics. The major topics of this year include:
1. Biomembranes
2. Biopolymers
3. Active matter
This year, the workshop (SMBT2025) will be co-organised by Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS) and College of Physical Science and Technology, Xiamen University, and it will be held on Feb. 9th –Feb. 12th, 2025 at Marriott Hotel Xiamen Haicang (厦⻔泰地万豪酒店), Xiamen, China.
