Where is the rest coming from? Yes, from gluon contribution and orbital momenta, but precise measurements are still to come. Today, the next biggest science questions arise: why proton is so heavy and pion is so light? What is the mechanism underlying the generation of almost all mass of the visible universe? The origin of hadron masses is deeply connected to the parton dynamics just like the spin contributions. We are in a very beginning of the journey to find an answer to these questions. AMBER is a newly approved fixed-target facility in the EHN2 experimental hall of the SPS at CERN, devoted to various fundamental QCD measurements. A determination of the valence-quark PDF of the pion and kaon, through Drell-Yan and J/ψ di-muon production, Direct Photon production and high precision Hadron Spectroscopy measurement would provide the needed sensitivity to the mechanism(s) responsible for the Emergence of Hadron Mass in QCD. At the initial phase (Phase-1) of the experiment unique measurements of the proton-charge radius and antiproton production cross-section in proton-He4/H2/D2 collisions will as well take place. 报告人简介: Dr. Oleg Denisov was born in Dubna in the family of physicists employed by Joint Institute for NuclearResearch (JINR). In 1985 he has graduated from theMoscow Engineering-Physics Institute and stated his research activity working for Neutrino Calorimeter experiment in IHEP-Protvino. In earlier-90s he was invited to join OBELIX project at Low AnergyAntiproton Ring (LEAR) at CERN. In 1997 he has joined COMPASS experiment at CERN SPS. During COMPASS times he was leading various hardware and software projects, in 2005 he has proposed first ever polarized Drell-Yan experiment which took place in 2015-2018 in a framework of COMPASS facility. Starting 2009 he was leading an effort called initially “New QCD facility at CERN SPS” and later AMBER (Apparatus for Meson and Baryon Experiment a Research), with the goal to extend hadron physics related studies at CERN and enrich them with new ideas and measurements. He was acting as a COMPASS co-spokes person for a three consecutive terms from 1015 till 2021 and asAMBER co-spokes person starting 2021 till now. 特别鸣谢:本届论坛由彭桓武理论物理创新研究中心支持。
