 学院理论物理研究所成立于1978年6月，是在理论物理各主
 要研究方向及相关交叉领域从事基础研究的专业研究所
 。1984年被选为全国第一批博士后流动站，1985年成为中国
 科学院向国内外首批开放的研究所，1993年被第三世界科
 学院选为首批参加协联计划的优秀中心，1997年成为中国
 科学院首批基地型试点研究所，1998年被列为中国科学院
 知识创新工程首批试点单位，2004年被批准为中国科学院
 与第三世界科学院奖学金学者培训基地，2005年被评为全
 国优秀博士后科研工作流动站，2008年成立中国科学院理
 论物理前沿重点实验室，2016年成立彭桓武理论物理创新
 研究中心，2019年入选科技部创新人才培养示范基地，2019
 年与曙光公司联合成立“理论物理先进计算联合实验室
 ”。\n\n“彭桓武理论物理及其交叉学科青年科学家论坛
 ”（简称青年科学家论坛）旨在通过专题报告、学术研
 讨和人才洽谈等形式，集聚海内外相关领域的优秀青年
 学者，共同探讨理论物理及其交叉学科学术前沿、热点
 问题，促进学术交流、合作，吸引优秀青年人才。同时
 ，我们将推荐优秀的青年学者申报国家及中国科学院相
 关人才计划。\n\n青年科学家论坛分别在2017年、2018年、20
 19年和2020年已成功举办四届。第五届青年科学家论坛将
 于2024年1月25-26日在中国科学院理论物理研究所举办，论
 坛将设立“最佳报告奖”。\n\n\n	学科领域\n\n\n诚邀海内
 外从事以下学科及交叉学科领域研究工作的优秀青年人
 才参加此次青年科学家论坛：\n1、量子场论与物质微观
 结构（粒子物理、粒子天体物理及核物理）\n2、弦论、
 引力理论与宇宙学\n3、统计物理与理论生物物理\n4、凝
 聚态物理、原子分子光物理和量子物理\n5、其他理论物
 理及其交叉学科\n\n\n	报名条件\n\n\n年龄一般不超过40岁
 、对理论物理及其交叉学科领域的研究工作具有远大抱
 负的青年学者。\n\n\n	报名方式\n\n\n1、符合条件并有意参
 加的海内外学者请在论坛网址（第五届彭桓武理论物理
 及其交叉学科青年科学家论坛 (25-26 January 2024) · Indico (it
 p.ac.cn)）提交注册。报名截止日期：2024年1月15日（周一
 ）。\n2、 我们将对符合条件的学者发出正式邀请信，请
 受邀学者在收到邀请信一周内回复确认是否参加。\n\n\n	
 差旅、住宿、报到日期\n\n\n注册后受到邀请的青年学者
 参加论坛期间的食宿由主办单位统一安排，往返旅费在

  2024\n\nBeijing\, China\n\nThe Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Ch
 inese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS) was founded in 1978. The ITP focuses o
 n theoretical studies in almost all fields of physics and some interdiscip
 linary fields of physics and other branches of science. The ITP plays role
 s not only as a research center of excellence but also as an open platform
  for productive scientific exchanges and collaborations for scientists\, p
 ostdocs and students from all over the world. The Institute is “open” 
 to all visitors under various visiting programs of the CAS Key Laboratory 
 of Theoretical Physics supported by CAS and the Peng Huan-Wu Innovation Re
 search Center for Theoretical Physics supported by National Natural Scienc
 e Foundation of China\, respectively.\n\nWe would like to invite all young
  scientists from home and abroad to participate in the Young Scientists’
  Forum\, which will be held in Beijing\, China\, from Jan. 25-Jan. 26\, 20
 24. The forum is organized by the ITP-CAS and is open to all theoretical p
 hysicists at age 40 or younger. The aim of this forum is to hold special r
 eports\, academic seminars and talent negotiations in order to promote aca
 demic exchanges and cooperation\, and attract outstanding young talents.\n
 \nThe main topics of the forum cover:\n\n·Quantum Field Theory and Micros
 copic Structure of Matter (Particle Physics\, Particle Astrophysics & Nucl
 ear Physics)\n\n·String Theory\, Gravity and Cosmology\n\n·Statistical P
 hysics and Theoretical Biophysics\n\n·Condensed Matter Physics and Quantu
 m Physics\n\n·Other theoretical-physics-related interdisciplinary areas\n
 \nWe encourage all young scientists involved in these research areas to ap

 年科学家论坛\n\nThe deadline for application is Jan. 15\, 2024. All 
 applications will be evaluated by the selection committee consisting of le
 ading experts\, and the accepted participants will receive official invita
 tion letters from the ITP-CAS.\n\nThe ITP-CAS will provide financial suppo
 rt to cover the accepted participants' travel (economy class) and local ex
 penses. A Best Presentation Award will be given in the forum based on the
