Hyperon-Nucleon (YN) interaction is important for understanding the nature of the strong interaction as well as the inner structure of neutron stars. Hyperon-Nuclei scattering, hyper-nuclei properties (binding energy, lifetime, decay, et al.) and hyperon-nucleon correlations are effective experimental methods for extracting the strength of YN interaction. Many important related experimental progresses have been achieved recently by ALICE at LHC, J-PARC, STAR at RHIC, GSI and BESIII. Future experiments/facilities like CBM at FAIR, CEE at HIAF, MPD at NICA are expected to provides valuable data in the near future. In this workshop, we will discuss latest progresses and further developments of following topics: Hyperon-Nucleon (YN) interaction and Neutron star, Hyper-nuclei properties (decay, binding energy, lifetime et al.), Hyper-nuclei production, Hypernuclei collective flow, future facilities and experiments, and related topics.
The workshop will be held from Dec. 18 to Dec. 21, 2023 at the Southern Center for Nuclear-science Theory (SCNT), Institute of Modern Physics (Huizhou).
