Speaker: Dr. Pablo Roig (Cinvestav, Maxico) 报告时间：10:00 – 11:30, June 30, 2023 (Beijing time) Zoom link: link Zoom ID:840 1356 5386 Password:333288 Abstract: We will discuss the most interesting tau physics analysis that can be performed at the Chinese Super Tau Charm Facility, paying special attention to their time lines and their experimental advantages/challenges. About the speaker： Pablo Roig obtained his Ph. D. in Valencia (where he is originally from), Spain, in 2010. After that, he made a postdoc at IFAE (Barcelona, Spain) and started another one at IF-UNAM (Mexico City), interrupted to join Cinvestav (Mexico City), where he stays since October 2013. His main interests focus on various aspects of lepton physics, including radiative corrections and Monte Carlo event generators, for precision SM studies and EFT limits on BSM new physics. 8 students have obtained Ph. D. under his supervision (4 more in progress). He is a member of several international committees, has organized a number of international events, acts as referee of the best journals in HEP, and is always eager to discuss physics.
